Another discrimination lawsuit against the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s office was settled by the commissioners.
The Tribune-Review reports that another racial discrimination suit was settled out of court between the county and former Deputy Mark Taylor. The settlement calls for a payment of $17,500. Commissioners have had to settle eight such lawsuits over the past few years.
The board of commissioners declined to comment on the matter further.
