
Six people were injured in a crash that closed a portion of Route 136 in Hempfield Township.
The Tribune Review said the crash was reported at 6:50 PM near Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Firefighters had to extricate a lot of the people in the cars. One young boy was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment, while four others in the car with him, along with a woman in the other car, were taken to Excela Westmoreland Hospital for treatment.
No word yet on how the crash happened.
