
A New Stanton man was found guilty of third-degree murder in connection with a case where he crashed into a pedestrian.
The Tribune-Review reports that 31-year-old Matthew Ramsay was found guilty of charges of third-degree murder, vehicular homicide and DUI. Ramsay was behind the wheel of the car when he veered across traffic and hit and killed 49-year-old Joseph Cummins, who was jogging his dog.
Ramsay will be sentenced in 3 months. He could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
