A Loyalhanna Township man pleaded guilty to shooting his brother’s dog last June.
The Tribune-Review reports that 60-year-old Robert Buchinsky pleaded to a misdemeanor count of animal cruelty, while prosecutors dismissed a more serious felony charge. Buchinsky said that the dog he shot, which turned to be his brother’s dog, was in his yard without a collar and was making a lot of noise. The dog survived the incident.
Buchinsky was sentenced to one year probation and ordered to take anger management classes.
