Later this month, the city of Latrobe will play host to the Pennsylvania Pipe Trades Apprentice Contest.
The Tribune-Review reports that the competition is hosted by the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters local union 354 and will be held March 26th and 27th at the Latrobe Industrial Park. The 10 associated local unions across the state will send their best apprentices to compete for top honors in five different categories related to plumbing and pipefitting.
The winners advance to a regional contest, and if they are good, they will go to nationals in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
