A woman from Mt. Oliver was charged with child endangerment and other crimes for an incident on Saturday while in a car going down Route 30.
The Tribune-Review reports that 38-year-old Christina Dawn Hall is facing those charges after the incident Saturday afternoon. The driver of the car told police after they were pulled over that Hall was slapping a six-year-old boy over a pair of sunglasses and grabbed the woman’s hair and punched her in the head, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. Another adult pulled Hall off the driver. Police found an empty malt-beverage can in the backseat with Hall.
Along with child endangerment, Hall faces simple assault, reckless endangerment, and summary traffic violations. A preliminary hearing is set for April 2nd.
