
Gas prices across the state on average are holding steady from last week.
Gasbuddy.com reports that the state-wide average price of a gallon of unleaded gas is $2.79 a gallon. That’s roughly the same price that it was last week at this time, but it also represents a 13-cent increase from last month’s average. Westmoreland County’s average gas price is slightly above the statewide average at $2.80 a gallon.
The cheapest gas prices in surrounding counties is Allegheny county, which has an average of $2.78 a gallon, with the highest average among our neighbors is Armstrong County at $2.84 a gallon.
