A West Newton man pleaded “no contest” to charges of corruption of a minor and indecent assault.
The Tribune-Review reports that 32-year-old Michael J. Rozzo, Jr. made his no contest plea connected with an incident in February of 2018 where during a party thrown by the victim’s parents, Rozzo went to the girl’s bedroom, made unwanted sexual advances and carried her to a different room before she escaped. More serious charges in this case were not prosecuted.
Rozzo was sentenced to six months of house arrest, seven years on probation and ordered to complete a sexual offenders therapy program.
