The condition of the man whose arm was trapped under a 13,000-pound piece of equipment in Indiana County is not known at this time. The incident happened at the Homer City Generating Station on Tuesday morning, when one of the contractors went to the plant, but got their arm caught underneath the heavy equipment.
Emergency response teams on site were able to respond quickly, and crews from three fire departments assisted in saving the victim. That person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
