The Greater Greensburg Sewage Authority is warning its customers of a possible sale of the authority to the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County.
The notice came as part of the latest round of bills to customers in Greensburg, South Greensburg and Southwest Greensburg. The Tribune-Review reports that the County Municipal Authority is interested in buying the Greensburg Sewage Authority but has not made a formal offer. Any sale would have to be approved by the local governments.
The notice urged customers to attend local government meetings to address the issue.
