A Latrobe man passed away in a motorcycle crash on Saturday in Unity.
State Troopers say that 60-year-old Mark Gerard Gruss was driving his motorcycle on St. Vincent Drive near Winnie Palmer Drive Nature Presereve when he lost control of his cycle. The motorcycle crossed into the opposite lane, hit an embankment and went into a drainage culvert.
Police said that Gruss was not wearing a helmet or protective gear. The Coroner’s office said that he died due to blunt force trauma.
