The Greensburg-Salem School Board approved several improvement projects at their recent school board meeting.
The Tribune-Review reports that projects at the middle school and the Amos K. Hutchinson elementary school will make up a majority of the projects that will total $500,000. This includes a handicapped accessible ramp at the middle school, a new cooler and freezer for the middle school, and a new fire alarm system at Hutchinson.
The project costs leave the district with $186,000 in their capital fund, but the board may consider borrowing money to bolster its capital reserve fund as part of next year’s budget.
