A Harrison City doctor charged with illegally distributing Suboxone will not stand trial in federal court today.
The Tribune-Review reports that Dr. Felix Brizuela, Jr., was scheduled to face charges in federal court in Wheeling, WV, with co-defendant Dr. George Naum III on a charge of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances outside their professional practice, but on Monday, US District Judge Irene Keeley granted a government motion to dismiss the conspiracy charge against Bruzela but preserve it for a later date as he appeals a conviction that happened in January.
