Voters in Murrysville are asking a judge to redraw voting districts to reduce the lengthy lines that have been seen in recent elections.
The Tribune-Review reports that that a judge will soon consider the petition containing 85 signatures concerning the Sardis and Newlonsburg voting districts, where lines have been more than one hour long at some points to cast votes. Supporters of the redistricting say that the long lines have actually turned away voters.
The filing will formally be presented in early May.
