Spitting in the face of three corrections officers got a Greensburg man 23 months of jail time.
The Tribune-Review reports that 23-year-old Jamel C. Miles pleaded guilty on Friday to several counts of aggravated assault by a prisoner in connection with an incident back in October, one month after he fired a gun during a dispute at a Hempfield apartment complex.
Miles also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment in connection with the shooting. He will serve 9 to 23 months in jail and will be eligible for parole in June.
