Two Irwin people are facing several charges connected with drugs and could also face animal cruelty charges as well.
State Police from Greensburg say last Wednesday around 7:40 PM, they were called out to a home on Gladstone Drive for a report of a burglary or disturbance in progress on the request of 34-year-old Roni Boltich and 27-year-old Stephanie Little. Police determined that there were no intruders and the two admitted they were on heroin and hallucinating, and they also showed that they had several stamp bags, marijuana devices, needles and the like.
Police returned the next day with humane officers because officers saw the house had several piles of animal waste and they found numerous pets, including seven cats, three dogs, 17 fish and a bearded dragon lizard. Humane officers seized the animals and said they would consider felony charges.
Also, code enforcement officials say the house had several violations and they may also consider charges against Bolitch and Little.
