Many people came to the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill on Saturday night for a vigil to support those who were hurt and killed in a shooting at a California synagogue.
WTAE-TV reports that this past Saturday marked the six-month anniversary of the shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue, and as the community was honoring those hurt and killed, a shooter attacked at the Chabad of Poway in California, killing one person and injuring three others. The community of Squirrel Hill came together at the synagogue for another vigil.
Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto announced that he would be in contact with the mayor of Poway to offer advice to get through the tough times.
