The state has honored three volunteers at Bushy Run Battlefield for their work at the historic battlefield in Penn Township.
The Tribune-Review reports that the state Historical and Museum Commission recognized Emily Liska, John Harris and Nick Sopko were honored during the annual Volunteer of the Year at ceremonies in Harrisburg over the weekend.
The three were nominated for their service over the last year.
