Even though the rules were recently changed to allow Pennsylvania hunters to go into the woods on Saturday before Thanksgiving for the first day of deer season, the State Game Commission may take another look at that ruling.
WTAE-TV reports that those who travel a great distance to their hunting spots voiced their concerns about the start of deer season, saying that they must abandon their holiday plans early to get ready for a Saturday morning start. The Game Commission says that they will listen to feedback from this year about the first day of deer being on Saturday to help with a commission study into the start date for the 2020 season.
