A woman charged with hitting and injuring a woman in a Walmart parking lot in East Huntingdon last year rejected a plea deal that would have sent her to jail for three days.
The Tribune-Review reports that 40-year-old Ronalee Bailey told a judge through her attorney that she would not plead guilty to lesser charges.
Bailey was arrested in connection with an incident at the Walmart where she struck a store employee in the parking lot while she was under the influence of drugs. Bailey denied she was intoxicated, but police had found her asleep at the wheel.
