An Allegheny County woman is charged by Greensburg Police of bilking more than $15,000 out of 14 customers in an online firearms scale scene.
The Tribune-Review reports that 24-year-old Jennifer Bittner of Monroeville was charged with theft, theft by deception and receiving stolen property in the scam. She had placed multiple advertisements on a gun sales website in 2018 and had the potential victims send their money to “a friend in Greensburg.”
A preliminary hearing has not been set yet.
