Westmoreland County Coroner Kenneth Bacha has released the identities of the two people who died in a car crash around 8:30 PM last night in Hempfield Township.
Bacha reported that 33-year-old Marc F. Delissio of Penn Township and 22-year-old Kirstin Kerrigan of Arona were the two who died in the crash on Baughman Hollow Road. Bacha said the car, which was driven by Delissio, crossed the center line and went off the south side of the road, hit multiple large trees and came to a rest on its roof. While Delissio was using his seat belt, Kerrigan was not.
Bacha said the cause of death in both was due to blunt force trauma and has ruled both deaths accidental.
