A Mt. Pleasant man wanted for missing several court hearings following drug arrests was found by county Sheriff’s Deputies at his mother’s house on East Main Street hiding under a bed.
The Tribune-Review reports that David R. Bailey was found by a warrant team on Tuesday with several baggies and a jar of crystal meth nearby. Bailey had multiple bench warrants out for his arrest in connection with his failure to appear for cases in 2016 and 2017 on drug-related charges. In addition to the baggies and crystal meth, police found other drug paraphernalia items, two firearms, ammo, knives, prescription medicine and marijuana.
Bailey is now in county jail without bail pending his arraignment.
