Over the weekend, graduation ceremonies were held for two area universities, Seton Hill and Saint Vincent.
The Tribune-Review reports that Sister Donna Markham, who was the first woman to serve as president and CEO of Catholic Charities, was the guest speaker for Seton Hill commencement exercises. Meanwhile, at Saint Vincent, graduates were treated to a speech by Pittsburgh Steelers and armed forces veteran Alejandro Villanueva.
