Two men who were implicated in a shooting nearly two years ago in the Monessen area were sentenced to serve probation.
The Tribune-Review reports that 29-year-old Joseph Heath III pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats in the non-fatal shooting of Timothy Kershaw in June of 2017.
Heath was sentenced to five years of probation. 23-year-old Rashawn Ford also entered a plea yesterday. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one year of probation. The plea bargains came as juries were being selected for their trials.
