A Greensburg man was sent to prison for an armed robbery in Jeannette.
The Tribune-Review reports that 25-year-old Clinton Young III pleaded guilty on Wednesday to two counts of robbery and other crimes in connection with the robbery last June 30th at the CoGo’s on Harrison Avenue. Witnesses said that Young went in, showed a gun and dragged a clerk across the floor. After grabbing money out of the register, Young tried to take the keys to a car from a young woman. Police were able to catch up with him and used a taser to subdue him.
Young was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison, and will also serve five years on probation after his release.
