Next Monday, the Latrobe School Board will hold a focus group meeting that is part of the search for the district’s next superintendent, and the public is invited to take part.
The Tribune-Review reports that the meeting is set for 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the High School Center for Student Creativity. The main goals of this meeting is to explore the strengths and challenges of the district, review key issues for the district to address over the coming years, and determine the critical skills that the next superintendent will need.
The board is tasked to find a new superintendent to replace outgoing superintendent Judith Swigart, who is retiring on July 31st.
