State Police have announced beefed up patrols for the Westmoreland County area for the Memorial Day Weekend.
The Tribune-Review reports that as part of their safe driving efforts for Memorial Day weekend, they will have a DUI sobriety checkpoint somewhere in the county. The checkpoint will be set up to detect and arrest individuals impaired by alcohol or drugs.
