Gas prices are beginning to dip ahead of the Memorial Day weekend.
In a news release from Triple-A, the average gas price across the state came in at $3.06 a gallon, which is two cents cheaper than where it was last week.
Right now, gas prices in Westmoreland County average out to $3.09 a gallon. The highest gas price average among the neighboring counties is Allegheny with $3.12, and the cheapest is Indiana County at $3.04 a gallon.
