A Greensburg woman is seeking damages after she was hit by a falling mannequin.
The Tribune-Review reports that Melinda Scalzo was at a men’s store in the Westmoreland Mall last year, helping her son find a tux, when a mannequin fell on her. Scalzo claimed the weight of several tux jackets on the mannequin caused it to fall on to her. She claims the injuries she suffered included a concussion, chronic migraine headaches, cognitive impairment, dizziness and other symptoms.
Scalzo’s husband is also suing, saying that he wants money for what he called “Loss of Consortium” with his wife. Both seek unspecified damages.
