On Thursday, Westmoreland County Commissioners approved a $12 million financial package to support construction on a manufacturing development in the New Kensington-Arnold area.
The Trib reports that the money will go towards the construction of a 175,000 square foot complex at the New Kensington Advanced Manufacturing Park that is expected to create 300 jobs in the region.
The site is the former Schreiber Industrial Park, along the Allegheny River, which originally was built as Alcoa’s first production plant.
