Greensburg-Salem School Board has approved a preliminary budget for the next school year that includes no tax increases.
The Trib reports that the $49.4 million budget includes an increase of about $325,000 in spending. A deficit of just over $540,000 will be filled with a portion of the district’s fund balance. The numbers could change based on the final state subsidy numbers.
The budget will come up for final approval in late June, and by then, the numbers could change.
