A New Kensington man was found concealing a stolen gun and drugs when police pulled him over on Sunday.
The Trib reports that 35-year-old Joseph Michael Singer, Jr. was charged with the incident shortly after midnight on Sunday morning. During the course of the traffic stop, police said, Singer was found to be in possession of about 1.46 pounds of liquid meth. Police said he also had regular meth, and was also in possession of a stolen Ruger handgun.
Singer’s bail was set at $50,000 when he was arraigned Sunday, and he was sent to the Westmoreland County Prison. He will have a preliminary hearing on June 29th.
