A series of video calls showing off the progress of a marijuana crop at a home in Monessen lead to charges being filed against two people. The Trib reports that 23-year-old Sydney Sayles of McKeesport and 38-year-old Jaamayl Crosby of Monessen face drug and child endangerment charges connected with the incidents.
Westmoreland County detectives reviewed several video conversations between the two in May during which Sayles is seen showing Crosby numerous marijuana plants, irrigation and ventilation systems and grow lights in the Graham Avenue house. A child is seen walking around in the grow room, police said. The calls happened while Crosby was in the Westmoreland County Jail on out of county detainers and a March arrest in Monessen. Both Sayles and Crosby are awaiting arraignment.
