Some single lane restrictions will go into effect tonight as various PennDOT road projects in Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties. The Trib reports that lane restrictions will be in place weekdays, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., through July 28 in both directions of Route 30 between Crown Road in North Huntingdon and Bach Road in North Versailles so crews can conduct geotechnical drilling on that stretch of highway.
In Hempfield, Donegal Construction and Derry Construction are combining forces to resurface Route 30 between the Route 136 interchange and the intersection of Sheraton Drive/Old Route 30. That work will cause weekday restrictions between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Wednesday, July 12 and continuing through late August.
A bridge preservation project in Murrysville will result in Route 22 lane restrictions between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., beginning Monday evening and continuing through Friday morning. The restrictions will be in effect between Haymaker Farm Road/Cozy Inn Cutoff and Kistler Road/Kohosek Court.
A single-lane restriction is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Monday on Brush Creek Road in Manor. Work associated with a bridge project will cause a single-lane restriction through mid-August on Brush Creek Road, between Penn Manor Road and the Trolley Street/Penn Street intersection.
