Yesterday was Gina Cerilli-Thrasher’s last day as Westmoreland County Commissioner.
The Trib reports that she will now move on to her new position as commissioner on the state’s Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board, which starts today. She stepped down after serving seven and a half years. Thrasher announced in February that she would not seek reelection and was appointed to the new position in June by Governor Josh Shapiro.
Former Commissioner Ted Kopas takes her place for the final half-year of her term.
