Tonight is the annual Friday Night Lights session of Steelers Training Camp at Latrobe Memorial Stadium.
The Trib reports that the event, hosted by the Greater Latrobe School District, has become an event embraced and supported by the Community. Workers will be up early today to make sure that things are ready for the practice to open up to the public at 5:00 PM.
This looks to be a return to Greater Latrobe stadium after three years. Two of those years were due to the Covid-19 pandemic and last year’s practice was called off due to severe storms. The last time the Friday Night Lights practice was held, it brought in between $40,000 to $50,000 in revenue before expenses.
