Irwin Borough Council is considering setting up equipment to stream borough council meetings online.
The Trib reports that at their last meeting on Wednesday, council approved a motion to obtain prices to set up a computer, cameras and microphones and necessary cables to livestream the meetings. The service would allow people unable to attend the meetings to watch them online. Some concerns against live streaming that were brought up were being able to make comments and having someone monitor equipment to make sure there are no problems.
