Overgrown plants and trees has become a concern for Greensburg City Council.
The Trib reports that public works director Tom Bell reported at a recent meeting that the city has started to issue letters to those who need to trim back the growth that is encroaching public alleys. He said that in some instances, the shrubs can knock off mirrors and scratch the cars.
Bell said that property owners can complain about the trim job if the city takes the initiative to do it.
