Firefighters in Irwin will see some insurance money to help pay for new equipment after theirs was damaged in a house fire in June.
The Trib reports that over $35,000 worth of equipment was damaged or destroyed while crews fought a fire on June 21st at a home on Carroll Drive, including boots, radios and masks. The insurance will pay all the cost of the damages, less a $1000 deductible.
Meanwhile, the house will be demolished.
