A Westmoreland County contractor will serve time in state prison for not finishing work that he was contracted for.
KDKA-TV reports that Jason Pirl pleaded guilty to charges filed against him in Fayette County and was ordered to spend five to ten years behind bars and seven years of probation, and he must pay back everything that he took from his victims.
The Westmoreland County DA’s office said that Pirl took over $600,000 for home improvement projects and never completed the work.
Pirl is at SCI Greene, and there are still open cases against him in Westmoreland and Somerset counties.
