A Pittsburgh man is charged with robbery, theft, simple assault and other crimes for an incident at the PA Turnpike service plaza in Hempfield.
The Trib reports that 28-year-old Kierre Williams met with the victim at the plaza as the man was going to buy a used cell phone off him for $650, Williams told troopers that he punched the man after being refused the cash and left. He also allegedly took the money and ran over his foot.
Williams is free on $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for September 29th.
