The site of an indoor sports arena in East Huntingdon which closed earlier this year is being bought and repurposed.
The Mt. Pleasant SportZone on Bessemer Drive was used for nearly 20 years for sporting events such as inline hockey and various sporting tournaments before its closure in July.
With the location now closed, a new company has bought the building and will be using if for an entirely new purpose. R and L Supply says it will be using the site to expand its business, which will include filling the building with snowplows, salt spreaders and tree cutter supplies.
