An Allegheny Township man is charged with threatening to shoot a woman and burn down her home.
The Trib reports that 37-year-old Paul Best II will face trial in Armstrong County Court for the incident on July 17th when police in Leechburg when a woman reported to police that he threatened her with a handgun. When she tried to push him out of the house, he refused to leave and went to her bedroom with the gun. He then returned to her home later on with a butane lighter and threatened to set her apartment on fire. The woman told police she was able to get the torch away from Best and hide it before packing some clothing and leaving, police said.
Best remains free on $5000 bond.
