One person was hurt in a crash early Sunday morning in Penn Township.
The Trib reports that 19-year-old Colin Turley was driving the car at 1:30 in the morning in the area of Route 130 and Harrison City-Export Road. Police had spotted it parked at a closed business with one headlight out, and Turley drove away when police approached. The crash happened at the intersection of Sandy Hill and Route 130. A backseat passenger was hurt, while Turley and another passenger tried to flee the scene after the crash, but were apprehended. A marijuana grinder and a vaping device were found in the vehicle.
Turley was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, fleeing from police and related offenses. An Oct. 3 preliminary hearing is set.
