Schools in the New Kensington-Arnold School District were on Lockdown yesterday as police were looking for a suspected shooter.
The Trib reports that a gunshot victim showed up yesterday at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting happened in the 1500 block of Woodmont Avenue in Arnold. The lockdown was lifted around 2 PM and students were sent home. A portion of Woodbine Alley between North and Catalpa streets was roped off with police tape, and as many as two dozen evidence markers dotted the alley close to North Street.
The suspect remains at large.
