A Rostraver woman is facing charges of aggravated assault, DUI and other crimes after an incident on August 30th.
The Trib reports that police were dispatched to West Otterman Street near the courthouse at 1:25 AM. Court documents say the victim was walking her dog when she saw 31-year-old Shannon Leigh Ryan stumble out of a bar and make her way to her SUV. The victim threatened to call police, but Ryan allegedly hit her and the dog before driving off on North Main Street. Jeannette police found the SUV later that morning.
Ryan denied her involvement. She is in jail on $15,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for October 12th.
