An 11-year-old Wendover middle school student was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly posting threats on social media directed at the school, which is in Greensburg.
The Trib reports that the boy, who was not named due to his age, allegedly texted fellow students on Snapchat about bringing a gun and a bomb to the school. The boy was arrested Tuesday without incident at his home, police said. Electronic devices were seized as part of the probe into the threats, police said. While firearms were found in the home, the student did not have them, police said. No explosive devices were found in the home, police said.
