A Unity man was sentenced yesterday for a case of sexual assaults against a teenager that prosecutors say happened over a seven year period.
The Trib reports that 74-year-old Clarence Wallace pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault of a child as part of a plea deal, while other charges were dismissed. Wallace will serve up to 23 months in jail for the charge. Wallace was accused of having sexual contact with his victim multiple times in various locations in and around Unity when the victim was eight years old and continued until the age of 14.
On top of the jail time, he will serve seven years of probation.
