Westmoreland County Commissioners say they are not in a hurry to find a new warden for the county jail.
The Trib reports that county leaders were informed that morale has improved at the Westmoreland County Prison since Warden Brian Kline resigned from his position. As of now, Steve Pelsky, who is the deputy warden for security, is the interim warden and there is no timetable in place to find a new warden. While interviews have not been scheduled, they have received some resumes for the job, including one from Pelsky.
County officials have not outlined how or when the process of hiring a new warden will move to the next stage.
